Isaac Durst is a 23 year old singer songwriter from the Peoria Illinois Area. With resonating and heartfelt lyrics sang on top of soulful takes on honky tonk music with a touch of blues, Isaac prides himself on keeping the traditions and truth of country music while pulling from his large amount of influences to create a unique sound.
Getting his start after getting caught singing in high school, Isaac never knew he could sing until he was 17 years old. He spent the year he turned 18 teaching himself how to play the guitar on a 1980's Yamaha that his Papa gifted to him. "As soon as I was given his guitar, I spent the next year practicing. I would play for 3-5 hours a day every single day of the year. I played until my fingers bled. I just wanted to be able to play so bad."
Since learning, Isaac has been cutting his teeth everywhere. From honky tonk dive bars to busy street corners, wherever he could set up, he would play. “ Music is my entire life.
